I have recieved suggestions not to place the remote oil filter mount beneath the rear trunk secondary to heat. What other sites have been found successful?
My remote cooler is not located in the rear trunk area, so that is not a limitation. One suggested to place the filter mount in the engine compartment, but from I see it, that would allow oil drainage into the engine compartment with oil changes.
What is the experience?
