I know that you are supposed to cover all bare metal with epoxy primer. If a panel is part metal and part fiberglass (flares) do I cover the entire fender with epoxy or just the bare metal? I think the supply guy told me just the bare metal, but I don't want to get this wrong. Next time I write it all down, damn sometimers is setting in.

The epoxy is a sealer. So any solvent or crap that is still in the fiberglass or metal will not ruin your paint.

epoxy has great adhesion to everything and good build/hide characteristics but it is a bear to sand.
