A friend of a friend is having his 75 914 towed to the junk yard this week (a real rusted pile of junk) he said to give hime 100 bucks for the towing fee and any part I want to just take. The seats are in very good shape except the tracks are stuck solid. Last night I sprayed liquid wrench on the tracks and hopfully the will slide out. If not what is the alternative (Its outside a barn with no electric so no power tool can be used).

Get yourself one of those cordless sawzall's and cut the thing out from the floor. Take the whole interior if its nice.

Can you remove bolts that hold track to floor pan? If you can, whole thing comes out and easy to work on sliders out of car.
