Can someone go over the proper procedure for adjusting your shifter properly. I installed a shorter throw shifter and I know it needs some tweeking. Thanks

Can someone help me out with this? My car is getting pretty close to completion and I know I'm going to have to do some adjustment. Thanks

it's definetily trial and error though. just try to pay attention to where you start, in case you cant shift after you finish biggrin.gif ask me how i know.... beerchug.gif good luck! DAve

Side-shift or tail-shift? The Haynes book has a reasonable procedure for the side-shift linkage. Not sure about the tail-shifters. And, of course, Dr. E. has procedures written up in the many pages linked in his sig. And Pelican has a tech article on the subject...
