I've been trying to help my stepfather find a shop to do the IMS bearing retrofit on his 97 Boxster, I found Ted Blake restoration listed on LN engineerings website.
The shop is in downtown Sacramento Ca, Just wondering if anyone has experience with him, Hate using a mechanic I don't know. But would like to find someone with experience in this repair. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jeff

I used to work at a shop about 4 blocks from Ted's shop. Ted is well known for 356 restorations, as in you make your appointment a year or more in advance.
I did not know he worked on Boxsters.

Call Ron Kain at IPB-Autosport, 916-453-1465.
Or go visit the shop at 1206 C St. downtown Sacramento.

Thanks for the info, Ted may not work on boxsters, I just saw his shop listed on LN engineerings website under dealers when I was reading their IMS bearing page.
I'll check out Rons shop.

Thanks again, Jeff
