I love 9" Fuchs! 
All hail the 15" wheels! Mine are 10s and 9s, and I love the look, just wish we had more tire choices.
I used live a couple of doors down from a rim store. I couldn’t believe they went out of business. They sold plenty sets of four, and there was a never ending line of people having to replace damaged rims and cut tires.
Besides when the engineers back in The Fatherland decreed shocks, springs and sway bars the sidewall of the tire was taken into account.

Where can someone get a pair of 15 x 9 in Fuchs? Or did they come in 16 x 9 as well ?
There is something very cool about 15" wide wheels with a little tire on them.

Well, they come in both sizes,16x9 and 15x9 the earliest dated 15x9
I have seen is 3-71 most are 73 rsr front and later 930 turbo optional wheel.
16x9's = $ 1500
15x9's = $ 3000
OR welded 15x9's about $ 1500 and up depending on finish.

But the GT-40 kit car guys are using this place, Also they do Fuchs and all kinds of wheels , But you will need German Vocabulary.

I just sold a nice pair of 15x9 Fakes - the problem is you really can't get any tires to fit them. I bought the last 2 pairs of 245/50/15s that Tire Rack had a couple of years ago
