I broke the tab off the top of my Koni rear shock trying to remove them.

So I need new shocks.
What does everybody recommend for racing shocks?

I was looking for the type with the ride level adjustment, but also found the ones with adjustable dampening with the knob.

What does everyone suggest?

I tried google, but I cannot find too many 914 rear shocks other than the Koni or Bilsteins.

I couldnt find one that has the adjustable ride height.

To adjust the ride height you need an adjustable rear coil over kit.

My Konis have 3 settings for the lower perch...

I use revalved Bilsteins with coilover collars similar to above. You can move the collar to different perches on the shock body, and also you can get different height springs. My springs are 2.5 x 10" but 8" would probably also work on a higher perch setting.
