You still shift it, it's just an automatic clutch IIRC.

If that's a factory -6 with Sporto, then it's one of a only a handful or two, and still fewer were imported to the USA market. Basically a -6 with Sporto bumped you well into 911 territory, & 911 Sportos were more common to have, so there wasn't the ole "dealer preferred pricing" on them, which they did add onto all USA 914-6 Sportos AFAIK.

The switch to shorty rear valances in 4s & 6s was common because of how the 70-72 porthole ones earned their other nickname: "Snow Plow"! dry.gif

However, it is a later rear bumper - which could mean a 72 -6 (if not a replacement for the later rounded style), but the chrome tow-hook hole cap seems oddly out of place on a body color bumper! blink.gif
