Hi Guys - I picked up a 902/1 transmission today. I plan on using it for parts, but didn't know if it might be worth more together. Anyone know what they go for? I was told that it will pop out of 4th, and got a set of dog teeth and synchro (both used) with it. Looks like it as AFMSX gears in it.
It's stamped 902/1 on the bottom and the serial number is 236893.
Thanks!

That has a pretty good set of gears, and would probably wake up your 914. I'm building a few shorter boxes for mine. If you get a chance, please look for the date code on the case next to the diff cover; probably xx/66.

I know someone who would probably be interested in the case and shafts, etc. If you pull it apart and take the MSX gears, let me know. I would just want the intermediate plate left together with the input shaft, just like Dr. Evil recommends.

Sorry to Hijack...
I have a chance to pick up a 902 tranny locally for what seems pretty cheap ($300). Worth it?
