Hot Shoe is known as kind of a hothead. Can't let him run if he's gonna overheat on course.
Seriously, haven't watched the video yet, but at SCCA national level events they put a bar code on your helmet and scan you before you run to enter your registration info into their computer. I'm guessing that's what you're talking about.

What's up with the self-serving advertising? As if to make a digital video recording is synonymous with GoPro and that there are not alternatives. As if enjoyment of the video was somehow related to the camera rather than the content. Who cares? Shouldn't this be in the vendors section?
I'll assume that was at Blytheville & that #9 was J Jackson who is leading FP on day one & you must be Jay Park or Donald Russell in a 4 banger sucking wind 7+ seconds back.
That course would be scary fast in a fast car. Wish we had em' like that up this way. No wonder the SS cars (Vettes) are doing well by comparison.

Nice course layout. I've always wanted to run on concrete to experience the increase grip.

It seems to be the size and shape all the fast cars are using except the S2000's.
Most of those guy's say the splitter is where to pick up the tenth's under 60 mph??

I was able to hold off my co-driver by 2.5 seconds over the 2 days
Tho on my last run of the day my pit crew(cough co-driver) was nowhere to be found. I seem to have forgot something at the start of my last run

Sorry bout ..You just got some "collateral damage".....that but anybody who calls themselves "hot shoe 914" needs a bit of harassment.....specially when they look slower than this old fart....& I've sucked a lot of wind in my day.

And you are correct that Shoe needs a little ribbing....he went into the event with High hopes. I was only there to beat him!
It was my second Nat rodeo and his first...
My biggest problem is not knowing how to drive new A6's to the limit??
I was just upset cause "shoe" took my usual spot in class at an NT event....DFL.

Jay and Shoe were alot of fun to compete with and to shoot the shit with -Caught up some with Jim on his V8 EM car.Good group to show off their teeners.Hope everybody makes it back in the fall.I promise we will build a big fast course.JJackson
