I'm gathering parts to install a 914-6 style oil tank and have some questions for those who have done it.

Looking through the parts book, I see many rubber seals and gaskets. I am going to use an aftermarket oil tank (PMS).

I'm a bit confused about which rubber washers/seals should be used or what others have used.

My list of part numbers is below. Of these, which have you used and which have you substituted something else?

901.107.691.00 _ Hose for filler neck
901.107.696.40 _ Seal
901.107.962.00 _ Washer
901.107.693.01 _ Washer
901.107.291.00 _ Seal Ring for filter
901.107.281.00 _ Circlip
999.701.100.50 _ O-Ring
999.702.132.50
999.702.089.50
901.107.679.10 _ Seal Ring

I left out the DIN washers, DIN nuts and hose clamp.

Thanks for your help. I don't want to spend a money on parts I don't need.

Heck if you are installing a PMS oil tank give Jim a call at PMS. I am sure he can give you the run down.
