Those Vitaloni's are a bit too wobbly, so I'm looking for either a cheap set of originals or some other reasonable aftermarket mirrors. Originality is of no importance, functionality and to a lesser degree price are.

Also looking for a narrow-bodied GT front valance. Don't really expect to find one here, but haven't ordered a new one yet and since I'm placing a want-to-buy ad anyway thought I'd add it just in case.

Thanks.

Is there a mirror thread some where to see the different types that members are using?

Could be, but if there is I haven't found it. There are a number of threads about adapting 911 flag mirrors, motorcycle mirrors and such, but no thread that I've found that lists all the different options or that compares different possibilities. Doesn't matter, I'm open for anything that works well. I have a couple of the Vitaloni's in very nice shape, for example, and if there's some way to make them solid they'd be fine with me. I've put a backing plate on the inside of the door but they're still pretty floppy, so I'm looking for something else, anything else, that works.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I too would like to find some good options. With the little 1/4 window it would make a great mounting area for any number of electric adjustable mirrors. My mom has a '95 Buick wagon that has a great shape expecially for a flared car. We have a Sebring with a nice shape too. More imortant is probably the shape of the little fixed window and getting something to fit that shape..... or they could be mixed and matched.
How about it all you junk yard dogs?

No hijack, I just want to find something that works that I also like, so if you run into something please let me know too. I just bought a pair of these:

They're from a Ford Escort. Idea is to put a backing plate on them then glue them to the quarter window and see how they look. Ten bucks a pair. Cheap, so if they're ugly I can just toss 'em.

are the vitalonis mounted firmly ? If mounted solidly maybe the wobbly is due to a too loose mirror. that is adjustable on the inside to firm it up.

Someone else had suggested so I tried that. Better but still no joy. I'm convinced there has to be something else more solid and more beautiful too.

The 911 flags are nice and solid..And nice and big for good vis.

The Escort mirrors are huge, way too big, just got tossed.

I thought the 911 mirrors looked a little formal, kind of out of place. If I can't find a better alternative I'll take another look at them, but right now for lack of other ideas I'm thinking a walk through the local Pick and Pull for inspiration.
