Yep, oil filled and a aluminum diaphram for light weight! Notice how the outer stop is staked to hold the halves together.

No, it had been rebuilt by someone. Its an early 1.7l MPS that leaked. I am not sure how the diaphram worked as I didn't test it in my car.
