Hello guys,

I am in the middle of changing the clutch and will need the torque spec for the following parts in the bell housing.

1: 10mm nuts on the T/O bearing guide tube
2: 14mm Pivot Ball(has 2 shims)

Thanks in advance.

Which Fritz is that?

I have found an answer for #1 on my blue book. It is 7lbs-ft only.

How about the pivot ball stud?

Hints on fastener sizing and torque ratings.
Fasteners are sized by their threaded portion - not their head size.

a 10mm fastener is huge - like your cylinder studs, The guide tube fasteners are 6mm (M6) which as a rule-of-thumb takes 7 lbs-ft. (Yes, it is 10mm ATF - makes no difference...)

Similarly, the ball stud is not 14mm. IIRC it is 8mm and is looking for something in the neighborhood of 13 lbs-ft. Since it's a PITA to get at, I'd probably clean everything really well and use Blue (i.e. mild) threadlocker.

But I couldn't find that spec'd either, and I can't go looking in the factory repair manual this morning.
