Details will be forthcoming, but I had a very positive attendance at the shop today on five-day's notice and I've decided that it's time to have a real Florida event.
It will be in 2012.
Stand by........
Those who were there, post your pictures here.

Proof that the 914 is always a chick magnet. This nice young lady sold fried
chicken and malt beverages at a local establishment.

Joe, Just wanted to say thanks for hosting a fun event for us. It was great meeting some new folks and sharing a great Saturday evening with so many "infected" 914 sicko's!! Can't wait to help with the Ramble...we must do it

Would that be a FLAT Ramble, or a Swamp Ramble!?
.... I suppose you could do multiple circuits around both hills in Florida for the twisty effect!

I can't wait, this will be my first event.
My schedule will work around it.
Series9
Jul 27 2011, 06:19 AM
Here's what I can tell you about the event:
It will cost an estimated $95 to register.
It will be three days.
Everyone who registers will get a custom embroidered work shirt, free draft beer in the evenings and several meals.
It will be in the spring or fall of 2012.
There will be an AX on the DeLand airport.
I will try to have it coincide with some sports car racing at Daytona, preferably historics.
I'm going to go drive the RS on the beach to see if it's realistic for us to set up a beach photo shoot.
We will use the restaurant at Skydive DeLand as our banquet hub and people who would like to make a tandem skydive while here will be offered discounted rates.

I can't believe it will have been five years since I put on the Atomic Ramble in NM.
Anyhow, the shirts everyone will receive with their paid registration will be similar to this:

Sounds like you're on it, Joe.
If it coincides with Historics at Daytona maybe we could get some parade laps?
Where do I sign?

Those ain't Mountains - they are as big as Hills get down here, but not Mountains
Not as much Vintage @ Daytona as there is at Sebring. The PCA Race @ Daytona is in October every year
