Does anyone know what center cap was originally used on the Mahle wheels? Is it the plain chrome used on the Fuchs?

yes. All the alloy wheels used the same chrome center cap. Mahle, Fuchs. and Pedrini.

They are stainless steel. some nice repo's aluminum are availlable from mikey914 and clip clip1.

Mikey's center caps are the best I ever saw for my car. I have Fuchs 4 bolt, and he even marked them front and rear.
Amazing looking.
