I just checked there are at least 8 seller on samba vw still selling new ones.. see link for thread od same issue w/ links i posted there.

NOS Wahler 65-70 celcius is exact same as oe 914

and you can get new wire w/ grommet and ? at Pelican

this is what i did and the damn system works perfect for 1st time./.

eveywhere check them all for best price.
