That's a LWB car, meaning it's NOT "early". HA! It doesn't even have carburetors!
Just 'cause you're local doesn't mean you get a pass ..........................

It's a 73 non sunroof CIS car. It will be an ugly duckling build, just not as UGLY as the first picture.

Here is the inspiration, even though it is a propper early car! Those are pictures I personally took in Morro Bay down by the marina.

Www.early911sregistry.org would love to see it.
That said, so would we. If you would talk about it in your "garage" you can talk about it in ours.

Jonathan,
I would have sold you this one for cheap.
I painted this one pearl white and did a mild restoration on it.

Eric, you are
. I will start tonight or tomorrow. Keep your eyes pealed. And remember, most of the time even though I took it apart, I couldn't put it back together for the last jelly donut on earth! I am going to need help on this one.

After going through an almost completed restoration on my dad's 69 911S
, AND as any of these cars make good donor cars for the 914s
, I'd love to see it unfold.

I am not a big fan of early S.
Pelican has MANY documented builds like the one you are about to do. And MANY helpful and knowledgeable people to help you along the way. Plus a pretty good classified section to help gather parts.
I dont spend a lot of time here, but it seems there are a lot of people here who are also familar with the 911s.
IMO I dont really care where you document the build, as long as you document it. Gives me inspiration to get away from the computer and finish up my projects.
Looks like you have some work ahead of you. Should be a good time, if you like breathing in hot metal shards as you cut out the rusty metal! Oh wow, now I am getting excited.
What are your plans? Stock? Slightly modified? 3.6?
BTW, LOVE the look of the steelies on the Ts.

Of course you should document it here Jonathan ... you're family
I need some inspiration anyway. I've got three SWB cars to restore
... well at least two need restored ...
Click to view attachment... the remaining one just needs a little pan repair and an engine swap to become a daily driver again
