I've been driving BMWs for several years and therefore been carburetor-free. Now I have this Weber'd 914. It only runs on 2 cylinders so I put a Redline kit in the one that didn't seem to be providing much fuel. I assumed that things would be better but it is worse; instead of getting a squirt of fuel from one pump jet, I get no fuel at all. I can pull both spark plug leads and not change the idle , though I'm getting plenty of spark. What elementary thing have I missed? What is preventing fuel from traversing my newly cleaned carb? Before I screwed with it I was at least getting some fuel to one cylinder on that side. I'm obviously no carburetor tech. Ken Erickson
SLITS
1.) Float needle valve - stuck closed, clogged
2.) Check valve in accelerator pump not working
3.) Accelerator pump diaphram has a hole in it.
4.) Fuel line to carb plugged/kinked

Is there any fuel in the bowl?
