Just had to do something. So, I modified the windage tray to get oil back to the sump faster.I drilled drain holes for oil return from the pushrod tubes and opened up the slits in the middle of the tray.

I couldn't remember how much clearance there was between the windage tray and the cam so I checked it. About 3\16" so no problem.

Perfect opportunity to check the clearance with the case. Jake had already done this so it was just an excercise for me. I did see specks of dirt in the pictures I couldn't see with my eyes so I'll bring home some loops from the office when I do the assembly.
