Does anyone find it ironic, given the posts of the last several days, that the BBS is going to be advertised in Excellence and when a potential 'community' member signs on for the first time they will be greeted with the following declarations and descriptions appearing on the home page?

"...just a place to hang out with fellow 914 enthusiasts who understand where you're coming from"

"...it's the members that make this community."

"...the coolest place to just hang out with your 914 friends."

"...our BBS is unmoderated..."

Makes you think, huh??? Or not.

I agree, don't forget those who want to bash my Higher Power or worse yet say he doesn't exist or care, instead of focusing on building cool 914s.

If I could show you where I was... (only 4 years ago) and where I am today, and you could talk to my MD, he would tell you, and you would believe that there was no way that I could have made that journey. I was diagnosed as incurable. There is no medicine that could have cured me. Only a miracle.

Now I am running in the 2005 Boston Marathon (qualified at Chicago last fall.) Say what you will, my faith will never be shaken again. My only regret is that it took a miracle to make my faith that strong. (It should have been there all along!)

Crap, you're right... I will call Excellence right now and see if they can still change the ad, because I forgot to put "religious bashing" in there
