OK - I wasn't paying attention when I stripped the '72 seats and got the handles mixed up with my stash of parts. I went to install them today and found there are two styles. One had long threads with a tapered shaft - the other has short threads with a blunt shoulder. Which one is correct for an early '72 (I think the short threads)?

Sorry if this has been covered previously.

The seat tilt bars have 2 different numbers.

The first number 914 521 287 10 is for 1970-1971. This is the long threaded portion.

The second number 914 521 206 10 is for 1972-1976. It is the short threaded portion.
