I love the look of the ultra low 914.

Today I put it into the sharp approach asphalt and destroyed my front air-dam.

It's now is time to find a new one.
I've had a " Flex Dam " on back order for many months now with AA.

Maybe I'll get a full race piece and really pay attention this time.

Ah, the price we pay...

Flex dam.....make it yourself.

"I" used the rubber lip stuff that is sold in rolls at the 4X4 shop.....some stainless fasteners and a shorty air dam......little bit of flat black paint......Voila....

you might want to just cancel the aa order. have you paid for it and are waiting for the item? i ordered a "deluxe" version of their se valance from them and it was a pos. terrible finnish, the mounting tabs were either in or out about 1/2", the ends were out about an 1 1/2" on both sides, and there was no way i could bend them in to mount it without putting the whole thing under an incredible ammount of tension. i can't imagine what the "economy" version is like. then there was the bullshit hassle of TRYING to return it. i admit they beat me, i got tired of the repetitive long distance phone calls and cut my loses. it sat at the front door for 2 weeks waiting for the fedex truck. it sits boxed in my shed.

Worst thing is, I bought it used. Repaired and repainted.

First day out I undid the same exact spot that needed the work.

A couple months go by and this- in the same spot.

I won't repair this one.
