Have seen the cable coming from the front or from the rear with various brackets either attached to the case center line, blower housing, etc.

Any experience with which way is best or does it matter?

Does anyone sell a ready made cable bracket or do we just fab one?

Whatever works and doesn't put the cable in a bind.

I used 1/2" steel tube, flatened the ends in a vise (90 degrees to each other), drilled the holes in da flats and mounted it to a case thru bolt. Sorry, no pics anymore - car went away.

I assume you're talking dual carbs.
