Can anyone tell me if these lug bolts will work on Fuchs wheels?

Here is the link

Thank you in advance.

I think the ball is wrong and the head is 17mm not the stock 19mm size. Maybe someone else will chime in. These looks like a set purchased years ago and they fit weird and the chrome chipped off on the first install. Edit; maybe I had the "others" bolt.

Not sure if these will fit Fuchs, but you can always ask the seller...

I am VERY happy with these lugs, and I have freshly restored Fuchs 4 bolts from Al Reed. I have 2 sets. Why 2?

I dinged up the first set with a lousy lug wrench before I restored all 5 Fuchs.

Spend the 30 bucks to get the Pelican Parts special 19MM lug socket.

My second set is spanking new and 19MM. Don't know where someone saw 17MM, but I just reviewed the ad in eBay and the seller is the same crazy guy in Austin but the parts are absolutely perfect.

And he is right about the acorn. Only his are correct. The ones to the right in the ad are EMPI for EMPI wheels.

He is a bit of a nut, but he delivers on what he says.

And use anti-seize on the bolts. Important to always use it, but don't get any on the Fuch's. It permanently messes up the finish. Dip the end of the bolt, and fit it by hand carefully.

It's my understanding you should not use any kind of anti-seize on lug bolts/nuts. It causes them to be overtightened by throwing off the torque wrench. The torque wrenches needs some friction to work properly. That being said If I lived in a really rust-prone place and drove my car on the salty roads in the winter I would probably risk it.

SoCalAndy had them on the set of 5 Al Reed restored Fuchs 2L wheels with no problems, and so have others on here. They're 19mm heads, proper acorn ball socket with top lag/space above threads.

Other option is factory lugs if still available ay $25+/- IIRC last I saw, but not chrome.

One of our members is also making a stud that can be used to help mount the wheels, rather than trying to balance them on the hub while trying to install the bolt.

He had a bunch that he shared at the Portage Picnic at Gerold Shaffer's place, but I don't have his contact information. Maybe someone can chime in as these are great.

The size is good but I don't like that wide head lip.
You might want to check out those as well:

All the stuff about thread all the way to the head is BS. The rim doesn't touch the thread. All the forces are on the ball and the hub as those are hubcentric rims.

I checked the original VW stock lugs and they are 14x1.5mm 38mm long with the same ball seat.

And lubricated bolt should be torqued to ~80% of the dry specification.
Check this out (first one that popped up on Google):
