I am working on a project and have a scan of the R/C 914 shell; I had to take a break from the mini mill while it is down for repairs again and am utilizing the 'down time' (that happened quite conveniently to finish the project, actually)

anyone care to guess what I'm doing with it?

here's a clue: someone that needs nomex socks put me up to it.

Jeff,

While that is indeed on the 'to do' list... nope. smile.gif This is practice that will lead up to that, though.

Christmas presents? Put peoples names on them with the 914 silhouette and you got yourself a plaque to hang on your house.

I made a wall hanging for my 6 year old for his birthday. smile.gif

It is the beginning of next month; now I am waiting on some red vinyl to put his name on the side of it.

Can you do that in a piece of aluminium??? That would be cool , or posibbly colored plastic.

colored plastic would be easier. I am sure I could adjust the code for aluminum, it would take awhile to do and would probably be better cast instead of machined.
