I'd like to offer you guys a special package - I don't do many (any) discount sales, but I thought it would be nice to give World "members" a little something.
Here's what I'll do - place an order for a side-shift RennShift from my website, and I'll give you a free shift knob and bushing set.
Don't add the knob or bushings to the order - just put in the memo of the order that you want the "World deal" and which shift knob you would like.
All my knobs are eligible and you will receive the 5 bushings (firewall, cup, trans console, and pair of coupler bushings).
If you have a 911 then I will do the same deal but with a shift rod and coupler bushings.
This will be a very limited time offer, so don't delay!

Hi James,
I bet you'd sell a TON more RennShifts if you sent something to give away at the MUSR!!!

Question to anyone that's ordered the 2" longer stick.
How does it feel for drivers that have their seats back further?
I'm 6' but all legs and didn't know if the longer stick would help.
Thanks,
SirAndy

Well, i'm 6'1ish and all brains.
I've been using the normal length stick with my RS. Works just fine for me ...

I've tried for two years to reach you with no luck. Always shows you've read the message, just never receive a response.

I need the hardware to convert my RS from it's present tail shift configuration to use with side shift linkage.
Do I need to order off your site or can I PM with you here?

I am also in. I would like to know exactly which way to go for a LS3/ 915 trans set up. I am 6-1 and also wondered about the longer rod. Thanks

I really want one of the shifters, I already have a brand new stage III kit, but I just bought an original six transaxle for my car and Dr. Evil is rebuilding it for me so I have to save my money for right now.
I don't know how long this deal will be available, but if it is still good next month.....maybe I can pick one up?
Thanks for helping us out regardless.

Ain't that a bitch...2 weeks too soon on my order and I probably won't get around to installing it for 2 months! Dammit...
That said, top notch craftmanship in the product!

Must....resist....urge....
I've got a lot of "priority" things to do to this /8 car before dumping that kind of change into a shifter. But I would love to have one.
Maybe Christmas after next?

Adam,
The second thing I said after getting behind the wheel of your carlast Friday (after: fuck that's a stiff clutch) was that your car needed a renshift. Your shifter feels like it is siting in pudding. May be bushings too, but I did not crawl under to see.
Helping you spend your money,
Zach.

My shifter as-is is good, and I don't really have the money for it, BUT if I do sell my heat exchangers this weekend I may just have to order a RennShift!

Coming from a '71 tailshifter daily driver, the '75 sideshifter is a big step up. My other '75 has never needed a rennshifter, so a rennshifter on this car seems frivolous, for now.
I've got new shift bushings on the way from Pelican which I'll install this weekend. I'm not ready to give the car back to Scotty B and hand him $10K.....just yet

All 915 trans conversions use the 915 style shifter. What are you using for linkage? I'll give you the free knob, shift rod bushing, and firewall bushing, but you may not need the coupler bushings depending on your setup.
The standard shifter lever is the same knob position as stock, the longer is 2" along the stock angle (so up and back). Depends on your steering setup (spacers), length and arm length, seats, and plain personal preference which one you want. 911s are almost all better with the longer stick, but you sit higher and the steering wheel is higher from the floor in those.

It has a boot that covers the mechanism, not the housing or base. The boot that goes to the floor is the 911 boot and I sell those separately.
