I am thinking about upgrading the shifter in my 914/6 (901 sideshifter gearbox) with an aftermarket shifter. I have seen very positive comments about the RennShift Performance Shifter in this forum. Any experience with the WEVO 901 Shifter (Wevo Shifter)? How do they compare?

The wevo 901 shifter is for tailshifters. Well, it's for 911s, which have the same shifter as tailshifter 914s. I've actually used one in a 914 tailshifter, all-be-it only for an hour or so. It was nice. But, for sideshifters, you'll need to contact James and get a Rennshift.

Yep. Our 914's do not have 901 boxes in them. They are actually called "914" boxes. The only option we have (which is a very good one) is the Rennshift. We are selling 3-4 a month right now and just placed another order with James.
