I spent some time trying to figure out how to get the proper length throttle rod for my conversion and I came up with this.....what do you think?

Looks nice. However, will it maintain rigidity under load? The factory used tubing for the bow, probably because of the inherent strength. It's lighter, too. Let us know how it works out!

It seems strong and I get full throttle! We will see!

I have another stock rod, if this doesn't work I can make another one using another material!

I think it will work for my FI. I am not autocrossing it! beerchug.gif

If it does the job and answers the question that the Cap'n asked then you have essentially a modified 993 type. Definitely want to know the outcome on how it performs.

Well I finaly drove the car today and the throttle performed flawlessly!

No flex and quick throttle response piratenanner.gif

The best part about making this part is you can make it any length you want or need!
