Thread size for fuel tank petcock?

Never fails, the last turn to get the petcock rounded off the threads.
Anyone know the size of the thread on the tank?
I think the threads are the same supply and return, but I need the supply side.

AA made a huge batch...he has them on the shelf.
I have also heard you can use AN fittings but YMMV

I think I can retap the thread, I just can't find the correct size.

Steel threads... aluminum nut on the line. Which do you need? I would (obviously) imagine it's the line nut.
Hit the classifieds with a WTB... should be plentiful.

Steel looks fine, it is the nut side. 18X1.25??

Thanks for the offer but my old friend here in town happened to have one on an old tank. There is no chance of retapping these btw.
