Well my 'new' Teener ('76 Calif. 2.0) still will not start (wondering idle when I received it; removed TB and cleaned it and adjusted TPS....I think) after I 'fixed' it.

Wants to run and sometimes even will for a minute; Pelican article says Calif models ECU may cut off fuel on deceleration so TPS adjustment is critical AND guess work;

So....how do you seperate and open the TPS from the TB? I want to look at the inside and coat the contacts with Stabilant-22.

Also my throttle body shaft has a slight bend where the acc. cable attaches....is this normal design or has it been bent?

Any recomendations on TB rebuilders?

It did pass Calif emissions last year, so I'm not anticipating anything major, but do need to get it to run/pass Colorado emissions. I have orderd all the under hood hoses, will do them this week, and the MPS holds preasure.

i have but not installed yet: cap rotor points (and new plate points mount to) condensor, Jacobs coil and wires, injection points, and will do a valve adjust. NGK plugs (BP6ES)

Thanks!! Mark
