One of our cousins.
I wonder if he put the _ under the 9 so we woundn't think he was car # 6 when he rolled over?

thanks for the pics, trekkor!
it was an awesome time out there today. thanks to everyone who helped me out after i sucked in BOTH valve cover gaskets and lost about a quart of oil in the process. met quite a few people today, enjoyed getting my car a little better dialed in, and running some respectable (though not inspiring) times.
47.118 was my best. i'm getting there. tires, need tires.

how many 914's at the event? If we(Metro NY) get three its a great turn out! And whats with the white line!!If you are looking for a line to follow you cant be fast!! Great to see all you 14ers using your cars!

Out of 42 , there were 6 914s. Three "regulars" are fixing things. Ever since Brad started showing up, there's usually 6-12 at each event. The results are astonishing. 914s are always at the top.... 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th in our case.

OK Brad, I never did get that corner right, but I thought it was my worn out tires. How can I turn in with only one wheel on the ground?
BTW Brad, that must have been one of those runs where I was being very nice to the new shifter and going very fast.....
I'm getting tired of Auto X. Let's go build a Pikes Peak car. I love driving fast in the dirt.
Now what should that car be??

Boxster Randal. Boxster.
Need to stop dicking around with the 914's and get out of the 70's.

Last Friday I was given a 35k budget to build a SCCA Dprod legal Boxster for road racing. I think I will use someone elses money..
Now to find a 12k-14k Boxster and schedule a cage from Tony.
SCCA is bringing back Dprod and the cars classified so far: S2000/Boxster/350Z
Exact rules have yet to be released, but cage/brakes should be open.
