Full Version: Front oil seal intallation tool?

Hello,
I am trying to find a suitable replacement for factory tool VW190, seen at the link below. It is used to install the oil seal on the front of the crankshaft (fan side) these were available though a number of vendors.
So what should I use instead, store bought, self made? I am interested.

Try a big socket or a piece of PVC pipe and tap it slowly and evenlly into its place.
