Well I am almost complete with this engine and now I have second guessed myself. I have my original set of 74' 2.0 rockers and I cleaned them up because my plan was to reuse them. However, because I cant stop reading articles on the rocker arm assemblies I have a concern. Everyone says to go with the 8mm rockers and run 911 style adjusters....
My engine is a 2056 with a Web 86a grind cam, stainless valves and Web springs that were bought with the cam. Do I need to run different rockers? Can I stick with stock?

The benefits of the swivel foot adjuster has been discussed at length.

Give all of that.
Your motor ran for 40 years with the stock rockers....
You can build it with stock rockers and it can last another 40 years...

Your decision.
