From last Sundays event down at the Marina.

You can change the results by clicking on the bottom choices, i.e., "by time", "by class," etc.

If you used SCCA AX rules, you'd have been 2nd OA. biggrin.gif

IIRC he's also the guy who designed the course ...

Right, he did.

It was a nice course, very technical actually.

I DNF on the two runs where I had people in the car. No mistakes allowed.

Na, just frustrated running with crap tires.

And as for competition I personally love it. Big difference between BP now and a few years ago - it was the closest competition in the club. When I won it a few years ago I did so by one second on the very last run of the year. None of the other classes were even close to the competition we had.

The AutoX chairman at the time took the win away from me on a technical violation and gave it to his best friend who I had beat.

The fun part now is trying to get into the top 10 at GGR or 4 at LPR events., which isn't all that bad for a car with 100HP.

Hey, Randal.

I have another video for you.
This is all of Rob's , Yours and my runs of the afternoon at Marina last week.
Also I have the in car footage of my a.m. runs complete with DNF spin outs.

I think you'll like it.

Let's play that handicap time game together at Alameda.

How much time will you spot me?

Trek
Randal
How about 3.9 seconds?

That is based upon what I think the course time will be at Alameda (about 55 seconds) compared to where we ended up last time.

Randal
Trekkor
That sounds fun!

BTW I was only 3.0 seconds behind you at Marina on a limpy clutch! wink.gif

Here's the progression thus far. You beat me by:

Marina # 2
( 6.601 ) 4-25-04 ( B )
Reno #3
( 7.157 ) 5-15-04 ( BI )
Reno #4
( 7.655 ) 5-16-04
Marina # 3
( 6.033 ) 6-13-04 ( BP )
Alameda
( 3.225 ) 7-17-04
Marina #4
( 3.033 ) 7-25-04

This otta be a blast! driving.gif

Ummmmmm.... The limp clutch will definitely give you the handicap edge with a good clutch and 3.9 seconds.

But then if I get my new Hoosiers in time.... Ummmmmmm

Bill P. and I have been playing this game as well. Much more real than PAX and I also believe closer to real handicapping than the convoluted approach GGR is going to take next year.

The lords of driving at GGR want us to believe it’s better to handicap on the basis of your golf clubs, rather than to look at actual results and then determine the handicap. My view is that horse racing and golfing can’t be all that far off after all the years they have been handicapping.
