I'm looking for a used Left/Driver Side air guide plate for a 1970 1.7L with tail shift.

Mine is somewhere between home and work.

I have either one. It looks like you need #12 in the picture.

Jim,

Yes, that is the one. It has the groove/trough for the tail shift linkage.

Thanks for the diagram link!!! Very helpful. I actually forgot what it looked like - I just know where it was supposed to be.
