Would a 2004 turbo have the same potential IMS failure problems of the naturally aspirated cars of the same era, or are the motors/cases different on the turbo cars?

Thanks!

if you are referring to a 911 turbo, it has the split case engine(metzger) not an m96. however it still has an intermediate shaft but is significantly more reliable.
