My engine is a 2.0-4 with euro P/C & mild cam. It currently has the standard 2" tall velocity stacks.

This would be for autocross only.

Is it true that taller velocity stacks can provide a little more low-end torque, or is this just urban myth?

Two inch tall velocity stacks are what come as "stock" in a 44IDF Weber kit. I assume this would give good all around performance.

I'm considering 3-4" tall stacks for more low end grunt for AX. If I have to lose a bit of top end for more torque, that would be just fine.

In all the posts I have read, shorter is better, even for low end torque and auto-x.

The tall ones just look cool but the dyno says to leave em short. <=2"

I posted a pic of my engine with the tall stacks and everyone including Jake hosed me. Jake said they cost you +/- 10 hp at the top.

So don't do it. Unless you want to buy mine
