Does anyone know the PPG code for Phoenix Red?

The paint code (L32K) seems to be the same as for Ghias, so I suspect this page will do the trick: paintref.com

As a warning - many of the PPG codes have been converted through a number of different paint lines and do not always match the original color very well. I had serious trouble matching Willow Green through PPG.

If you go to the PPG links on there (and below), then pick your color & go to their old documents, one or both of those should give the actual mix code.

BTW the 914's used the VW Paint color codes, so both are the same paint/color, so it should be on one of the jpg docs on this page:
