I'm finally getting arround to installing oil pressure sender/gauge and temp.
Normals are and alerts are:
Pressure normal 18-30psi. alert 2-8psi.
Temp 180-240drg. F alert 280 drg F.
Is this correct?

Warm oil, you want about 10 psi per 1000 rpms.
Oil temps should be 190-220, 230 to 240 is getting warm and 250 is shut off time

Oil pressure on many electric gauges can drop below 10psi at idle. Verify with a mechanical gauge. Pressure varies with oil temp, and can often show 60psi as low as 2000rpm when the oil is cold, but will typically fall to around 45psi max once the oil warms up. Consider 10psi per 1K revs a rough guide for warm oil, but I'd not panic if the dash gauge (particularly an electric one) shows different.
