Full Version: Fuse your instrument lights yet?

As you are probaby aware, the dash lights are not fused and a simple goof can cause a costly/time consuming repair. I did this on both the 911 and 914 (after smoking a few wires in the 911). I did a search here and couldn't find anything but might have missed it. After removing the dash from my 73 I found that all the dash light wires were toast! And yes-I put a fuse in after repairing all the damage. Ray

Ray - where did you buy your tail and were you happy with the quality?

Is that why the fuel gauge reads differently when the instrument lights are on?
