Am bringing back a 914 and was wondering if the Haynes Manual gives good advice about brakes It discusses just replacing the rubber parts in the master cylinder and piston on the front and back brakes.
Car has 30k miles and was just sitting not damaged.
Has anyone rebuilt brakes and master cylinder and where do you buy the brake and cylinder rebuild kits?
Also has anyone converted the plastic lines from the brake fluid holding tank to the master cylinder with metal lines?
Can you convert to copper?
