smaller gear has some "gauling" per doctor evil - thus low price.
nicer h gear typically sells for $350+-
large gear - far less gauling.
i will try to take better pics in sunlight tomorrow.
i would say dogteeth appear to me to be servicable as well.

This is a very good price for an "H" gear. This gear can be flipped and used for 5th gear (ratio somewhere around 5.80s to 5.90s. I had the Great Doc Evil of the most fearsome "EvilWorks" build my transaxle with this gear in 5th. It should give me rpm in 5th somewhere around 2800.
See the Doc on specific questions. He does build a "mean transaxle".

When this gear is "flipped" to use as a 5th, the galling will be on the decelerating side of the tooth. There will be gear noise when you let up but it may be fine to use. Brad Mayeur

thanks - i bought this set from you - and i will use it myself if in put a V8 in my 1975, but i am leaning suby/suby in that car - for the ultimate driving machine with good gas mileage and nice rpm range : )
