Looks like it is still melting/dripping dry underneath from the glacier it was found in. Always nice to have a clean car before you start working on it.

It was handlin' pretty decent until the trailing arm broke off......and then the door popped out.............that's when it got kinda hard to steer.

I checked the vin # out and this was actually Otzi the Iceman's 914. It broke down on him one day while he was driving through the Alps in a bad snow storm. 5,300 years later, this is what you end up with. The car is not quite as well preserved as the Iceman.

FYI Otzi's friends called him Hank.

I saw that door and thought NOS too. I bet it still has a part number sticker on it.
