I am looking for a good relatively rust free 914 for daily driving. Expecting to pay $4,500-$7,500 depending on the condition. It must run, drive, and shift great. Paint and interior are of lesser concern.

A car within one days drive of Arcata, CA would be great (Santa Cruz, Reno, Portland). I'd like to drive to check it out, and then drive it home (in 2 days).

Big pluses include: 2.0l (of course), side shifting tranny, early bumpers, performance mods are OK. a black or silver 73-74 with a 2.0 would be my dream car. java script:emoticon(':driving:', 'smid_26')
