This repair attempt happened sometime in the car's past and I just ignored it.
Cut out the bad and made a big hole.

Going for a different look in 2019 on my SIX. If all goes well I should have my wheels powder coated in a few weeks. Then paint an extra set of side mirrors. Yesterday I added my black bumpers plus amber lenses. Later on I plan to go back to Fuchs...now enjoying Boxster wheels with 255/40/17 on all corners.

Paul-

In reality I don't currently have the $$$ to fully restore this original 914-6 to the level we see on this forum. SOMEDAY idea.gif

So for now I'm adding some make up, nothing permanent. Just playing around.

The rear trunk lid has been painted. Waiting for the paint to harden, then color sanding.
I am going to wait for a while to decide if I want to add a spoiler again.

While I'm in there . . . . .
Replaced the sagging rear trunk shocks with new ones.
(I wish I had more 944 parts on Elvira. They are much more affordable than the 911 bits and pieces.)

Saw the mistake on my GT engine grill. Laughed at myself. Now I'm going to have to fuck it up better somehow. Maybe porch.

Can't you 'retrofit' some of those expensive 911 'bits' with 924/944 'bits', John?

Elvira looks nice without the spoiler. I took the Corvette wing off of the 'BB' for a while, and it looked better ... but I was too much of a CSOB to have the holes welded up and new paint, so I put it back on laugh.gif
