Not sure yet, Mark I drove down to San Diego today 75-85mph then stop n go once I got off the Fwy. The temp gage never moved off center. I'll know once the OAT's reach 95F plus. I can always open it up a bit more if required.

Finally brought her home. Has been away getting painted, being put back together, servicing the clutch, replacing lifters, gas tank, air box and a few other things. Now it's time to put the interior back in and take a real drive.

I put wheels on a wing. Mounted them to the end caps and the inside wheel has a wheel well. Still got a little patching to do and some more layer's of fiberglass then on to the goosenecks.

I apologize in advance for posting this here but I am unable to start a new thread for this since I am a new member. Moderators, feel free to instruct me what to do.
I have a project 914 in my shop that someone invested heavily in but the previous shop never finished before going out of business. I have around at least $30k in receipts for parts not to mention the car itself and spares.
I spent several days going through it to see what I have and what it would take to get it going, but we are considering selling it as a whole. The engine starts and runs, but no cooling lines are hooked up, hydraulics (brakes/clutch) or throttle cable.
From what I can see so far it has:
1. Custom subframe with “built” subaru engine (~220hp)
2. Custom Subaru (?) transmission converted to 2wd
3. 911S brake calipers ($$$)
4. AIM dash with tons of sensors
5. Full ~$10k+ elephant racing suspension/coil overs, camber plates, links etc.
6. Two brand new sets of “Fuchs” style wheels with sticky tires
7. Spare Subaru engine
8. New racing seat, harnesses, coolsuit, electronic fire suppression etc.
I’m just poking around here to see if anyone would be interested in this complete project.

Did bronze shifter bushing install. NOT plug and play. Had to buff the bushings on wire wheel to fit. Then found the angle of the cut on the bushings was a little off and not letting them go down. Got out the file and worked on that. Upgraded to late 911 coupler because it is a little beefer. Got everything fitted and lubed with antisieze.

Finally, a scheduled day off coincided with a warm and dry weather forecast. I used the opportunity to enjoy a nice, long, all-day drive.
I accomplished my goal of burning an entire tank of gas and not returning home until after the little red light came on.
I even found time to stop and take a couple of photos.
