Finally got around to adding transmission bling since Dr Evil overhauled it. I had him install 6 bolt 911SC axle flanges so I can use 944 CV's with the custom axles I have. Still looking for a NOS transmission backup light switch. Using URO solid 914-6 six transmission mounts. Transmission case has been sprayed with LPS 3 to prevent corrosion.

Installed Spokes rear lights to complement his fronts I installed last year. Also installed his relay so my turn signal indicators finally work. Another 1st class company offering 1st class products. Service after the sale is important and missing from many companies nowadays. beerchug.gif Here's to you Jerry. @Spoke . Next, I need to change out the side marker bulbs to be 100% LED. aktion035.gif

Luckily, it didn't happen in any of the cars, but a rat took up residence in my RV garage and made a huge mess.

What brand and size tires are you running there? Looks great with the BBS wheels!

Other than ignoring it, like I have done for the last 45 days, added Stabil. Should probably do a mouse house check.

Not a 914... a 1975 Wagoneer. Getting ready to sell this rig.

Worked on fitment for my new Speedhut Gauges in the orig frame. JB welding in new inner flange to create the new hole sizes for the gauges. Small differences in hole diameters required for proper mounting.

Got the new fuel pump in the '74. SO much quieter than the last one.
The new one is the CB Performance rotary type.
Hopefully that was the only problem smile.gif

How large is it gonna be?

Back in the 90s, I drew up plans for a 2-story, triple-wide, double-depth, attached garage behind our 3-story [secondary] mountain home up in Lake Arrowhead.

We had more than enough room for it on our 1/3rd. acre lot - but the first thing the plan check guy said was ... "No, Oh hell No. Why on earth do you need a garage that large?"

I told him that we wanted have to secure parking for our RV, a boat and a few cars, plus a workshop, but he wouldn't budge from his denial for a permit mad.gif

Good job. Though I know some people love the BUBs, I really believe the early bumpers look so much better on our cars. If I had a '75-'76 that would be one of my first modifications. beerchug.gif

Collected my car from friends paint and body shop having removed US-spec side marker lights and ugly 1975 US bumpers. Replaced them with glassfibre 'earlies', saving around 75 pounds in weight. Looks so much better…

I purchased 4 standard injectors from Oreillys, pulled my #3 (the leaking one) and then noticed the Standard injector has a factory fitted hose that elbows and is two short to reach the metal fuel lines. Would adding a coupler to each line and make longer lines harm performance?

I'd cut the supplied elbows off and make up new hoses to the required length. Carefully cut through the metal bezels just enough so that you can pry them off of the injectors. Use good quality hose - 30-R9 or equivalent fuel injection hose.

Took the 914 to a big start of year classic event at Bicester, Oxfordshire (UK...) yesterday - 485-mile roundtrip in the day. Was one of only three 914s there. Attracted plenty of comment and lots of photos taken. I think I love this car as much as I did the 914/6 I use to own...
