I received my new Koni sport although they probably will not get installed today. Should I have my struts repowdercoated to match my Konis?
i think they look good black. might not be as hard to clean as the yellow will. from the road grime and brake dust...

Just got her back from getting new wheel bearings, replacing inner & outer driver's door handles, and radio wiring de-fuched-up so it works again. Driving great and now has the addition of Mikey914's wheel center caps on my Mahles...
I should get to drive it a few more times this week. Might try to clean it up a bit.

Had the mechanic figure out as to why the left rear wheel has been squeaking. Needs the caliper to be rebuilt and had him check out as to why the shifting has been sucking lately. Maybe something internal, as opposed to external.

Fixed a front suspension clunk and had to make sure it was fixed in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Also got my car back after the baby deer collision. So I used a steel bumper this time, and did the Nissan 350Z grille for the radiator. Also popped on some Hella lights for bling. The last thing to do is get my factory headlights back in.

I removed old inner door seals, only to find my black plastic door sills are all warped and broken, gonna order new aluminum ones before I put the new seals in. Also blew number 11 fuse again, not sure what is up with my interior light, haven't been able to get it working, every time I try it blows the fuse.

Checked the tranny fluid level to find it was a quart short. After filling, I went for a drive in hopes that solved my shifting problems. It didn't. Now it's time to drop the engine and tranny for a rebuild on the trannsmission.

My favorite grill style for 914 H20 conversions. Tried to pull it out of his pic some, but too dark. Check out Jerry's example in the link below. One of my all time favorite teeners, now with LS1:

Yea, that is where I got inspiration to do this.
Mine still needs some work to make it match the curvature of the bumper (not that easy).
Work in progress all the time!

Sent off two driver side stainless heat exchangers to make one good one. Cutting the 2.0 muffler mount end off of the one with crack in pipe and welding that to a solid 1.7 unit. Will be delivered in the morning. Can't wait to install as it will do two things - get rid of the exhuast leak and allow me to hook up the heat

Use a propane torch and warm the piston, pins will then slide out w/ no drama.
