Cool barn find. Driving with flip flops is a big no-no in my book....especially in a manual. I know of several wrecks at the coast caused by people getting their flip-flops hung up on the pedals.

That is a NICE car! The flares look staggered a bit. Very aggressive look. Love the color. What is that, metallic green?

I still haven't found the rear targa latch spring that your 'half wit's' brethren allowed to get flung into some unknown region in my shop

thanks the flares are standard width fiberglass gt flares. the color is gasser green from eastwood. wasnt about to pay the big bucks for a porsche color. I painted it myself so it sure isnt perfect but im happy with it . Today I spruced up and installed a better top on it. the old one had a big pucker over the targa bar
Got some goodies from PMB and Tangerine to weld on tomorrow Pulled the front sway out of the bucket to go onto the red tub. Cleaned up the MC and painted the bracket.
changed the front tires went to the dmv and got it registered no problem. then took it down to get inspected no problem. and for a short ride discovered that i only have 3 gears. a shifter adjustment will hopefully fix that. Great day!

Drove it to work and on the way home, ran off and left a 911 that thought it was going to pounce on me. He reacted too slowly, my carbs dumped fuel and I was gone!

I seam sealed front drivers fender, undercoated it, installed one turbo tie rod, and sanded down and painted the supports for the A arms.
Just have to finishing sanding passenger front fender well, treat for rust, seam seal undercoat, and install other turbo tie rod.

Got over to the shop for several hours on Wednesday. Had to charge the battery in the 'BB' (which tells me it ain't gettin' driven enough) - so I could pull it off the lift and park it outside. Kept it on the charger for the duration.
We needed more work space, so Fred and I rearranged a bunch of 'stuff'. We had to remove some seized brake pads in the 912 so we could move it around and stick it up on the lift (drive train swap coming up).
Then we grabbed a few Mini Trail bike frames that were stashed up in the loft. We'll be reviewing the parts inventory and hope to start building them up next week.
Got to go again today, but only for a couple of hours. Started the 'Westy' to charge up it's battery ... and packed up a Triad to ship out.
I need to go for a drive

When it was cooler......that is cooler for Vegas. Just flew back from Vegas last night and cooler is a relative term. While I was there for he three days, it was above 100 each day. Good god 103 at midnight on the strip!
I've been working on my current goal of making my car move under its own power, installed a new fuel pump yesterday, today.... get the accelerator pedal working again.

Took mine for a drive to the FLAPS, needed some oil for the diesel truck. Went the long way around some country roads, finally found the break loose point of my new tires and suspension setup what an awesome feeling, coming out of the corner all I could think was.......I need to go to an AX. Haven't raced the car since all the new stuff was added....it might be time.
Put some larger casters on the red car dolly. Put the red car on the lift and dropped the rust bucket down on the ground. Made an extension cord for the welder. . . .
Bob, post a pic of your dolly. Just finished welding and hardware on mine.

You are kidding right? This dolly was put together to transport the tub over the bumpy ass roads in rural NC. And tall enough to load onto a trailer. And Cheap.
